ABOUT ME

MY STORY

I was a very shy child but I was fascinated by acting, comedy and performance from a young age. I studied drama and theatre at Middlesex University and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama to Masters Degree level. I started working in theatre as a stage manager, director, writer and then qualified as a Dramatherapist before training in clown and improvisational comedy.

I facilitated improvisation in my therapy work and then trained in improv as a performer with Second City, Magnet Theatre, Hoopla, The Maydays, and Comedy Sportz.

Due to my physical comedy style I went on to study clown with Spy Monkey, Peta Lily, Holly Stoppit and The Performers Playground.

Performance

I now perform character and improvisational comedy with my teams Glossop Improv, Close Distance and Beep Sebastian and at festivals in UK, Ireland and Malta.

Writing

I write plays and sketches for theatre and radio. I was Artist in Residency for Z-Arts, on the Soho Theatre Writers Lab and write sketches for Mighty Bunny.

Radio

I’m a five-time Gold award winning presenter. I’ve presented extensively for stations such as the BBC and Greatest Hits Radio.

Directing and coaching

I’ve directed understudies in London's West End and for my sketch team for the Reading Comedy Festival and London Fringe. I’ve facilitated drama and improv sessions as a therapist, director and coach.
